The Republican Unitary Enterprise "Repair and Mechanical Plant "Universal" is a manufacturer of mining, handling, and mineral processing equipment. Effective December 18, 2025, the company has been the legal successor to OJSC "LMZ Universal."
The main areas of activity are the design, production and repair of mining and technological equipment for processing plants, the manufacture of non-standard equipment and spare parts, including custom-made products according to customer drawings.
The Universal plant team brings together specialists with extensive experience in the design, production, and repair of mining equipment. It employs over 800 highly qualified employees, including over 40 design engineers with an average of over 15 years of industry experience.
In addition to the designers, the company employs technologists, production personnel, quality control specialists, and service support specialists. This teamwork ensures the full cycle—from technical solution development to equipment commissioning.
