The Republican Unitary Enterprise “Repair and Mechanical Plant “Universal” is the legal successor to the repair and mechanical plant founded on August 15, 1977. The plant was built to manufacture and repair equipment for the potash and chemical industries. In November 1984, the plant’s main facilities were commissioned. A year later, the production of spare parts for various mining (boring machines, self-propelled cars, conveyors) and chemical equipment (mills, thickeners, pumps, roller presses) was launched.
Expansion of production capabilities
(1985-1990) Over the next 5 years, the company actively developed the production of attachments for face conveyors, heat exchangers for chemical plants producing phosphate fertilizers, elevators, screens, and the production of RKS cutting tools for mining combines. A section for the production of transmission housings for walk-behind tractors was created, and much more.
